Building Hope Program

This is an opportunity to learn the skills, earn the certifications, and meet people that will set you up for long-term success. This is perfect for those with an interest in construction. NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. 

About Building Hope

Revitalize Milwaukee offers Building Hope, a 12-week workforce development training program that teaches individuals about the construction used in lead abatement. Upon graduating from the program, qualified individuals will be eligible to find work with existing crews doing home repairs and lead abatement. The program also includes construction safety, hand and power tool use, windows, trim, siding, doors, career skills, and much more.

• Establish applicable construction experience 

• Graduates will be eligible to join accredited lead abatement crew 

No construction experience required

Hands-on training in: 

Hand tools, power tools, framing, windows, doors, trim, siding, soffit and fascia, aluminum wrap, drywall, lead abatement, basic employability skills, basic construction safety

Application Process 

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3 

You will be contacted for an interview within one week of Jackie’s receipt of your application. 

Step 4 

Come in for an in-person interview. 

Step 5 

You will be contacted if you have been chosen to be part of the Building Hope program! Reminder to come in clean clothes and be on time. Give yourself extra time for parking!
